Osgood Media was created on the 9th March 2016 by Calum Johnston as Osgood Films whilst he was a student at Edinburgh College. The original aims were to provide reasonable but high quality videos and films for low budget filmmakers, and to help youth theatre companies venture into films by filming productions or helping younger kids learn more about acting to camera.

 

As time moved on, we have moved into the world of media, changing the name to what it is today and providing social media services to clients looking to expand their online presence. In doing this we have also kept the Films moniker when we focus on providing our video services and in December 2020 launched O.M. Photography to display some of our favourite snaps.

The name Osgood derives from Calum's love of football, as he is a massive fan of Chelsea FC and their "King of Stamford Bridge" is Peter Osgood, a famous English striker and club legend famous for wearing the number 9 who died in 2006.
